Stafffinders are looking for a fantastic Assistant Manager for a great hotel on the Isle of Islay. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who likes the island way of life & is looking for a new job in a supportive environment.
The Hotel
The hotel is extremely popular with both locals and visitors alike. It is busy year-round due to the quality if service on offer and the proximity to other great attractions on the island.
About You
You’ll already have worked in hotels before, so there will be the usual planning menus, service, rotas etc with some staff training thrown in for good measure.
You should be meticulously neat & organised behind the scenes and exude professionalism and elegance in front of guests, leading your team by example.
You should have previous management experience to be considered for this role.
The Job
As Assistant Manager, you’ll be taking responsibility for the hotel and how it is perceived by both staff and customers alike.
You will oversee orders, service and cleanliness. You should be heavily involved in service, organising the team to ensure every guest is happy throughout their stay.
This is a 7 day a week operation, with an annualized hours contract. As much as the hotel is busy year-round, the hotel is generally busier during the summer.
The Benefits
The Assistant Manager job comes with a salary of up to £25,000 per annum.
There will be help available for relocation and other benefits available with the job including a generous pension scheme, 35 days holidays, private healthcare amongst others.
