Stafffinders are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Operations Manager for an award-winning hotel resort in the Scottish Highlands. The hotel is set in a picture-perfect landscape, on the edge of a loch at the foot of rolling mountains.

The Job
You will be working along-side the Operations Manager to ensure all departments are working in a positive, productive, friendly and fun environment, whilst ensuring a unique and memorable five-star service is always delivered to guests, in all areas of the resort. You will be deputising in the absence of the Operations Manager. You will be a vital part of the hotel’s operations team, ensuring a smooth day to day running of the resort.
About you
As Assistant Operations Manager you are a strong communicator and can lead from the front. Your professional and enthusiastic attitude inspires your colleagues to work to the best of their ability. You are comfortable and competent at dealing with guest queries and complaints in a professional manner. You have a great understanding of five-star service and can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to train others, manage a team, host daily team briefings, create a positive working environment and food and beverage knowledge makes you an outstanding professional.
Requirements
This job is suitable for a Duty Manager with at least 12 months experience looking to take their hospitality career to the next level or for an experienced Senior Duty Manager / Food & Beverage Manager wanting to showcase their skills whilst gaining experience in a luxury five-star resort.
You must have
·A good understanding of five-star service
·Ability to use computer programs such as Excel and Word
·Have a professional food and wine knowledge
