Stafffinders are currently recruiting on behalf of one of Scotland’s most luxurious hotels for a dynamic, enthusiastic Chef de Partie. The hotel is a small country house in Dumfries & Galloway, a perfect setting for a stunning meal.
The role will involve preparation of various ingredients around the kitchen and setting up a corner in a timely manner. The hotel prides itself in using locally sourced ingredients to provide guests a remarkable, world class dining experience. Everything is made in-house, including breads & ice creams and all butchery is done in house. This is a remarkable place to work and expand your skills. The menu is a 5 course tasting menu that changes every day, making use of the best ingredients available, including vegetables & herbs from the hotels own gardens.
The job will involve working alongside the current brigade, taking responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen. A minimum of 2 years experience in at least a 2/3 rosette kitchen would be required for this role.
A competitive salary is available, depending on experience. Live-in accommodation is also available.
Due to the location of the hotel, this role may suit someone with access to their own transport.
