I have a phenomenal client who is looking for an awesome Chef de Partie for the brasserie style restaurant within one of their fabulous hotels in Lanarkshire. It’s an extremely busy place, so you’ll need to be able to cope with some serious numbers.
 
The philosophy behind the food is ‘fresh, exciting with something for everyone’ so Pizzas and Pastas to things like Chateaubriand & Swordfish (not on the same plate…) are on the menu. There are brilliant opportunities to learn, with some chefs coming away prepared for the next step up, and of course, there are opportunities for progression within the company.
 
The hotel hosts a lot of functions, from weddings and occasions to themed party nights, so there is a bit of function work involved as well, so any experience would be an advantage.
 
You’ll need 2/3 years’ experience at Chef de Partie level or higher, so I won’t bore you with what you’ll be doing. What you will really need to be in order to do this job well, is be super organised, have a brilliant working attitude and be able to gel with the current team.
 
The salary on offer is up to £19,000pa depending on experience. There is also tips (which are great), staff discount throughout the hotel group, employee reward schemes & a great system for getting hours back if you have to work 6 days for any reason.
