Stafffinders are currently recruiting on behalf of a stunning botique hotel with 70 bedrooms who are looking to recruit a Commis Chef for their restaurant. The standard of food is excellent with fresh locally sourced, seasonal produce within an interesting relaxed dining environment under a talented chef.
The role itself will be working within a young friendly team of 5 chefs and you will be trained on all sections within the kitchen and support the Head chef and full trainin will be given. Successful applicants should have experience at cooking fresh food for 2 years and that are looking to learn and progress to a higher level. This is a great opportunity for aspiring chefs with their career progression in mind and to learn. The right chef must have passion and drive as they are looking to move up from commis in a few months.
The restaurant caters for around 35 to 50 on a dinner service with NO lunch service. There is a strong stable team in place with chefs in the kitchen to support and develop you to the next level.
The position has the benefit of hourly pay of £7.50 per hour regadless of age and going up to £8.05 in April next year. The shifts are a mix or straight and breakfast splits with a minimum of 37 to 45 hours.
