Stafffinders are currently recruiting on behalf of one of Scotland’s premiere luxury hotels for a determined and enthusiastic Commis Chef. Situated in amazing surroundings, this wonderful hotel provides guests with a serene atmosphere and customer focused impeccable service.
 
The role will involve assisting experienced chefs with various tasks around the kitchen. The responsibilities involved with the job will include setting up the kitchen and being heavily involved with the day to day operation of the kitchen, learning from the wealth of experience available in this prestigious establishment. You will also need to be organised in order to ensure a smooth service everyday. The learning opportunities available in this role are abundant and not to be missed by any chef that has a desire to really set their career path alight.
 
The ideal chef will have experience working in a high quality hotel with an emphasis on using fresh produce to a high standard. The candidate is also expected to have a full knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH and qualified to at least S/NVQ level 2.
 
A fantastic salary is available to the right chef along with accommodation, meals on duty, uniform, tips & training.
 
Due to the location of the hotel, this role may suit someone with access to their own transport, but is not essential.
