An amazing and rarely presented opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Deputy General Manager to join one of Scotland’s most iconic destination hotels. This luxury establishment, which has a growing international reputation, is looking for a 5-star Deputy General Manager to lead and develop all operations of this popular fine-dining and C&B venue.

About the hotel
Located on the outskirts of Glasgow, the property is expertly, tastefully and immaculately maintained by the experienced management, and has garnered a multitude of accolades over a short space of time, for both its dining and guest experience.
About you
Your 1-5 years’ experience in a 4-star plus hotel makes you a strong Manager that can lead from the front and deliver results. You have a good understanding and a passion for 5-star service. You have a good understanding of creating a great place to work and have exceptional leadership skills. Your experience in a busy C&B environment means you can take the team here to the next level by training, monitoring and developing. You have an excellent understanding and complying with loss prevention policies and procedures support profitability goals while reviewing staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
The Job
You will work closely with and report directly to the Hotel General Manager and although the focus will be within Guest Services, you will be very much involved with to all aspects of the day-to-day running of the hotel. You will also be deputising in the absence of the General Manager. Guest satisfaction is paramount here so staff development and mentoring vital, in order to both meet and exceed the guest expectations. Very much a hands-on, customer-led role, this job is not for a desk jockey! The role would be ideal for an ambitious Food & Beverage Manager or an experienced Operations Manager, looking to take the next step in their career and continue their learning and development.
Due to the venue location (approx. 30 minutes from Glasgow city centre), candidates would very much be advised to have access to their own transport.
Duties include all aspects of managing the guest experience, assisting human resources activities and the daily operation of the hotel.
