Duty Manager

Highlands & Islands Ref: 102684

An amazing and rarely presented opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Duty Manager, to join one of Scotland’s most revered country house hotels. This boutique, luxury establishment, requires a proactive, energetic and dedicated Duty Manager to join their management team, who will help to lead, develop and improve their already hugely successful operation.
The Benefits...
You will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum, plus a generous share of gratuities. You will be working in an iconic, multi-award-winning hotel, set in a breathtaking setting. In order to take some of the stress from relocation, temporary comfortable live-in accommodation can be provided should it be required.
The Operation...
The property has been tastefully and immaculately maintained by the long-term owners, winning countless awards through the years for both its multi-rosette fine dining and red star accommodation. Situated in a rural yet stunningly, idyllic location, this fantastic hotel is renowned for the service and personal attention their guests receive, with a great number returning year-on-year.
The Job...
You will work alongside the hotel’s senior management team leading, monitoring and developing the Food and Beverage operation team ensuring the highest of standards are always provided to guests. This is not a job for someone looking for an office-based role, it’s very much a guest-facing role and you will be a strong presence on the hotel floor. Duties include serving guests, monitoring service, dealing with complaints and ensuring company standards are in place and followed.
You...
This fabulous opportunity would be ideal for an existing Duty Manager or Head of Department with a minimum of 3 years’ experience looking to take the next step up in their career. Candidates must possess excellent English communication skills and be presented immaculately. Ability to deal with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds is essential, as is the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. You should have experience working in the luxury sector, ideally a country house style.
Due to property location, candidates would be advised to have access to their own transport and would certainly suit someone who loves the tranquil, Scottish outdoors.
To apply for this fantastic job...
Please forward an up-to-date CV. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and provide evidence of such upon request. Applicants will also be required to provide contact details for suitable reference.
