Stafffinders are looking for an Executive Head Chef to run the kitchen in a fantastic hotel tucked away in the Scottish Highlands. The hotel is set in striking, dramatic surroundings with lochs, woodland & mountains surrounding this stunning building.
The Position
The kitchen needs a Head Chef who stands out from the crowd – A natural leader with a passion for phenomenal food & top-quality service.
The focus is on using high quality, fresh ingredients to create outstanding cuisine that is among the best in the country.
The successful Head Chef will be someone with a background in producing top quality food. The emphasis will be on seasonality, showcasing the best of Scotland’s produce, with classic French elements using the best of what’s available and enhancing that to fantastic heights. Ideally, you will have extensive experience at Michelin Star level.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of the kitchen. This will include overseeing ordering, stock-takes, Health & Safety requirements & staff training. 
The kitchen team has been carefully assembled with some of the best chefs in their respective positions. You will be responsible for getting the best out of the kitchen team, getting everyone moving in the same direction, accepting nothing less than perfection.
This role will suit someone with previous Head Chef experience in a Michelin Star environment. Strong Sous Chefs will be considered for the role if their background shows true progression & a readiness to become a Head Chef. The candidate will need at least 5 years’ experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level within a Michelin Star or 3 rosette restaurants. A full knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety legislation & a current Food Hygiene Certificate will be required.
You will be responsible for getting the best out of the kitchen team, getting everyone moving in the same direction, accepting nothing less than perfection.
The Benefits
The role comes with a salary of up to £55,000pa for the right candidate plus bonus of up to £5,000.
Accommodation is not currently available, though it will be available to help with relocation.
