I am recruiting on behalf of my client for a Front Office Duty Manager.
What will your day look like?

Ensuring memorable experiences for guests
Supervise the Front Desk and manage the overall cleanliness and organisation of the front desk
Handle guest requests and complaints
Liaise with other departments in the hotel to ensure the smooth running of the shift
Build a rapport with guests
Manage group arrivals
Assist with arrivals and departures
Be aware of any events, VIP and group arrivals and daily functions in the hotel
Assist in the training and coaching of new team members and monitor their performance to ensure a brilliant guest experience
Ensure the front desk is always covered
Preparing smooth handovers for the next shift

What would make you the perfect fit?

At least 2 years’ experience working in Front Office department in a 5-star environment
Previous duty manager or supervisory experience
Flexible with working patterns
Knowledge of Opera PMS
A desire to progress and improve your knowledge and skills
Comfortable leading a team
Amazing customer service skills
A team player who is positive and promotes team spirit
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
