Stafffinders are delighted to be working with a new client based in the Caribbean. With two hotels operating in the area, the company is looking to bring new heights of luxury to the tranquil surroundings of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines.
The Hotel requires a Head Chef who stands out from the crowd – A natural leader with a passion for phenomenal food & top-quality service.
The Position
The focus is on using high quality, fresh ingredients to create outstanding cuisine that is among the best in the area.
The successful Head Chef will be someone with a background in producing top quality food. The emphasis will be on seasonality, showcasing the best of the islands produce and enhancing that to fantastic heights.
The Benefits
The role comes with a salary of up to $60,000pa for the right candidate.
Accommodation is also available, as is career progression as the company seeks to expand beyond its current portfolio.
The Role
The Head Chef will be responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of the kitchen. This will include overseeing ordering, stock-takes, Health & Safety requirements & staff training. 
You will be responsible for getting the best out of the kitchen team, getting everyone moving in the same direction, accepting nothing less than perfection.
This role will suit someone with previous Head Chef experience in a rosette standard environment. Strong Sous Chefs will be considered for the role if their background shows true progression & a readiness to become a Head Chef. The candidate will need at least 5 years’ experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level within a rosette awarded environment. A full knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety legislation & a current Food Hygiene Certificate will be required.
