Head Chef

Glasgow & Strathclyde Areas Ref: PM99800

The Setting
A stunning converted castle in Lanarkshire, glamorously restored to pristine standards with upgrades still coming.
The Plot
There is a wedding on tonight, 200 guests including the Bride & Groom are expecting an incredible meal, one that will be something they will remember on the Silver, Gold & Ruby anniversaries to come, that Head Chefs years down the line will strive to recreate, but never better. You’re the Head Chef that is going to lay down a marker that will set the tone for the evening and make chefs in other hotels swing and miss.
The kitchen is a picture of calm, everything is ordered, costed, the deliveries have checked in perfectly and the chefs are working their way through the final preparations, everything calculated and listed meticulously so every single plate goes out perfectly thanks to you.
Behind the Scenes
This event has been months in the planning, meetings with the wedding coordinator, General Manager & with the kitchen team. You know what will be happening, you’ve has briefed the chefs and they know their roles. Everything will go out looking amazing. Orders have been taken and everything is going flawlessly.
The Event
The speeches are coming to an end, a nod from the manager signals to the Front of House Staff to get ready. The kitchen is prepared, chefs behind the line, order on the board, every component of each dish is ready to go. Starters go without a hitch, mains follow and a final flourish for desserts and coffee with petit fours.
Afterwards
The happy couple got off to a brilliant start, high fives all round, get the kitchen cleaned down and ready to go again.
