The Job and You… As Head Receptionist / Reception Manager, there are several key responsibilities including training and development of the reception team; rota management; liaise with Sales & Marketing team in regards to room rates and occupancy; responsibility for front of house reservation system; cash handling (inc. petty cash) and end of day reconciliation; stock control; ensuring that all reception duties are carried out in line with company procedures; liaise with other departments such as housekeeping, F&B and kitchen; report directly to company senior management and directors. To be considered for the job of Head Receptionist, candidates should primarily have a strong level of supervisory experience within reception or front office. As the first point of contact, your presentation should be immaculate and communication skills first class. Candidates should be IT and online reservations systems literate, have a highly organised nature and a guest focused personality.
