Hotel Receptionist

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established team within this centrally located hotel in Edinburgh. You will be working in one of Edinburgh's most historic areas, an ideal base for tourists.
You will be joining an established team working as receptionist. You will be responsible for greeting all hotel guests, it is therefore essential that you posses strong customer service skills. You will also be responsible for, checking in and out all guests so you must also have proficient IT skills. 
The Hotel receptionist role is a varied role, dealing with guest telephone calls and answering general guest enquiries along with making bookings for guests. This will be a busy, operational role although you will be well supported within this friendly, team environment. You will be required to liaise in person and on the telephone so a friendly, professional manner is a must.
You will be working a mix of early and late shifts and you will be offered a room for staying over following late shifts. You will be working with an experienced General Manager who is happy to offer training and support. It is essential that you are experienced in the hotel environment with at least limited reception experience.
