Stafffinders is recruiting for experienced housekeepers on behalf of several highly regarded clients in Edinburgh’s city centre. We have a variety of hotel clients ranging from family run accommodation to 5 star hotels which offer luxury rooms and leisure facilities and provide the absolute highest standard of service. We are recruiting for multiple roles as we progress into the busy summer season. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to register with a reputable recruitment agency and work within a variety of venues in Edinburgh & the Lothians.
Duties will include:
-          servicing hotel rooms to a very high standard
-          ensuring the daily cleaning and tidying of all the hotel bedrooms and any public areas
-          working to tight timescales
-          delivering any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
-          reporting to the Manager any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries on duty
-          ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
-          carrying out other duties as required,
Our clients require our candidates to have basic English communication skills, as well as a positive attitude to work, be well presented, have previous experience in a similar role and be willing to work weekends and manage some early starts.  Due to the location of certain clients, your own transport would be helpful, but is by no means essential.
