Stafffinders are currently recruiting on behalf of an award winning restaurant within in St Andrews for a Jr Sous Chef or Chef de Partie depending on your experience. It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef who wants to progress their career in a strong kitchen under a fantastic chef.
The role itself will be working within a very strong, experienced and stable team and you will be responsible for your own section within the kitchen and support the Head and Sous chef who have worked together for years. You will be required to work all sections of the kitchen showing that you can adapt in the various sections.
The restaurant has an excellent reputation for many years for high quality food using only fresh, seasonal local produce which is in abundance. A refined attention to detail is needed along with good classical and modern training techniques.
Successful applicants should have 2 years experience at Chef de Partie level in hotels or restaurants or a strong Demi chef at Rosette level experienced, an ideal opportunity to move up. This is a great opportunity for aspiring chefs with their career progression in mind to work with a former Michelin starred chef.
The position commands a salary of £20,000 to £25,000 per year plus for the right candidate dependant on experience plus FANTASTIC tips. The role is 5 days per week.
