Stafffinders are recruiting for an exceptional Jnr Sous Chef…
Working for one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious and luxury hotels you will play a key part in the successful day to day running of this historic venue.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will take complete charge of a specific section within the kitchen that serves two restaurants and event spaces up to 100 guests. The kitchen caters for both a Fine Dining outlet and a more relaxed brassiere too so experience in both styles of food would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 year’s experience working in professional kitchens and come from a strong and stable background, preferably with experience working at a good Rosette standard.
As Jnr Sous you will be comfortable assisting the head chef in the absence of the sous chef and be prepared and willing to attend daily operations meetings as well as organising the kitchen and junior members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen both during prep time and service.

The client can also help with relocation and can provide temporary staff accommodation for 5-6 weeks.
