Stafffinders are currently recruiting on behalf of an award winning 4 star hotel with 2 AA Rosettes in Midlothian for a Head Pastry Chef It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef who wants to progress their career and ability to the next level.
The role itself will be working within a team of 8 chefs and you will be fully responsible for the pastry kitchen. You will be required to implement menu ideas on a daily to weekly basis as well as costing and function menus.   
The hotel has an excellent reputation for high quality food using only fresh, seasonal local produce which is in abundance. A refined attention to detail is needed along with good classical and modern training.
Successful applicants should come from a solid rosette background or from a good fresh food level in restaurants or 4* hotels. To be considered for the position experience with functions would be needed and an ideal opportunity to move up. This is a great opportunity a strong pastry chef de partie to move up for career progression in mind.
The position commands a salary of £22,000 to £28,000 for the right candidate dependant on experience.
