Senior Sous Chef

Stafffinders are recruiting on behalf of one of Ayrshires best leisure resorts. Set on the Isle of Arran, this luxury hotel is fast gaining a reputation as the go-to getaway in Scotland. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Sous Chef for their brasserie.
The resort has multiple revenue streams and is well supported by a fantastic management structure & training program. It boasts multiple restaurants, each with a distinct theme but with fresh ingredients and talented chefs at their core.
You will need to be flexible in order to adapt to the needs of the business and have fantastic organisational skills in order to be as effective as possible. You will be required to assist the Head Chef in menu development, staff training and in the day to day running of the resorts kitchens. You should have shown longevity & commitment in your previous roles & have an obvious flair for creating great food.
You will need to be dependable & consistent to maintain the high standards already in place and to set a great example for junior chefs in the brigade. You should also be comfortable with big numbers as the resort is always busy and be able to plan, organise, prepare and execute functions.
The role comes with a salary of up to £26,000 pa for the right candidate. There is also en-suite accommodation available along with tips, meals on duty & access to the resorts extensive leisure facilities.
