Stafffinders are looking for an exciting & ambitious Sous Chef for a luxury hotel Set in the most picturesque location on the southern edge of Loch ness. The site boasts of the belief that they cater for couples looking for a more than romantic meal, the opportunity to dine with friends or even diner with the dog. Regardless of the occasion though the emphasis always remains on using the best quality produce to craft the most delightful dishes for their hand-crafted menus. Whether our clientele have been sightseeing, working or travelling, the restaurant offers a warm welcoming and calm environment to relax and enjoy the delights that are prepared in the kitchen.
The Job
In this role, you will be working alongside a very talented Head Chef, creating stunning plates of the highest quality cuisine. You will have to be organised in this role, liaising with the Head Chef & front of house to ensure you are prepared for all guests.  You will also need to have an outstanding knowledge of food & flavour combinations and be interested in progressing in the industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a chef who is constantly raising their game & receive fantastic training.
In order to create incredible dishes to show the best of the ingredients and what you can do. The successful applicant should have relevant experience in a high-quality kitchen. Preferable with experience of preparing and delivering rosette level cooking. The site also benefits from falling under the ownership of a larger resort which opens the opportunity of career progression within the chain at there other locations if available.
Due to the location of the restaurant, this may suit people who drive & have access to their own transport, though accommodation may be available for candidates looking for live in roles or are considering relocation.
The Benefits
This position comes with a salary between £26,000 & £29,000 per annum along with accommodation & other great benefits.
