Working for one of Edinburgh’s most innovative and forward-thinking restaurants you’ll have the chance to implement and develop your own ideas whilst learning from one of the city’s best head chefs. Running the kitchen in his absence you’ll be confident in your role to develop and nurture the chefs working under you. A strong fresh food background Is a must and previous experience working in a rosette awarded kitchen would also be advantageous.

The ideal sous chef for this position will have the following:

2-3 years’ experience in a rosette standard kitchen
Strong management skills and the ability to lead the team in Head Chefs absence
Proven track record of dealing with budgets, ordering and GPs
Experience creating, costing and implementing new seasonal menus

The Successful candidate will be a great team player and excellent motivator who is confident using fresh, local produce and a great eye for detail and most importantly someone who is career driven and ambitious.
