Sous Chef

Stafffinders are recruiting on behalf of one Scotland’s most luxurious hotels for an experienced & creative Sous Chef. The hotel is set in astonishing landscape with views that cannot be bettered anywhere in Scotland.
The successful Sous Chef with need to be comfortable working in a fine dining restaurant with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You will need to have great organisational skills, display fantastic attention to detail and be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
The restaurant in the hotel is striving for multiple rosettes and is looking to become a top destination on the island. The role will involve;
* Sharing responsibility along side the Head Chef for the entire kitchen department, menu planning, staff training and recruiting
* Ensure that all dishes are prepared with attention to detail and to the highest standard; ensuring company spec is met at all times.
* Manage the kitchen brigade, motivate the team and share knowledge, training and developing chefs within the team.
To be considered, candidates must be passionate about food and delivering amazing hospitality to guests. You must be organised, a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
Similar quality hotel experience is required within a Sous Chef or Head Chef role, ideally within a multi-rosette or Michelin Star operation. Ideally, you will already be a Sous Chef or a highly experienced Chef
The position offers a salary of up to £26,000 and comes with accommodation.
