Stafffinders are recruiting on behalf of one Scotland’s most luxurious hotels for an experienced & creative Sous Chef. The hotel is set in an unbelievable location, with some incredible views to accompany some of the best food in Scotland.
About You
The successful Sous Chef with need to be comfortable working in a fine dining restaurant with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Working under a very talented Head Chef in a team of 9, the kitchen is a precisely run operation. You will need to have great organisational skills, display fantastic attention to detail and be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.

About the Role
The restaurant in the hotel already holds 3AA Rosettes and has ambitions to push for further accolades. The role will involve;
* Sharing responsibility along side the Head Chef for the entire kitchen department, menu planning, staff training and recruiting
* Ensure that all dishes are prepared with attention to detail and to the highest standard ensuring company spec is met at all times.
* Manage the kitchen brigade, motivate the team and share knowledge, training and developing chefs within the team.
To be considered, candidates must be passionate about food and delivering amazing hospitality to guests. You must be organised, a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
Similar quality hotel experience is required within a Senior CDP, Junior Sous or Sous Chef role, ideally within a multi-rosette or Michelin Star operation.
