Stafffinders are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious, multi-award winning client for a dynamic, goal orientated Sous Chef. The hotel is set in some of the most picturesque scenery imaginable in Stirlingshire & is at the very forefront of the Scottish hotel scene.

The What You’ll Be Doing Part
The client operates some of the most incredible venues in the country, providing diners with a fresh, exciting approach to modern cuisine. Working under the supervision of their talented Executive Chef, the successful Sous Chef will be expected to help maintain the already high standards and help raise the kitchen brigade to new heights. Sharing responsibility alongside the Executive Chef for the entire kitchen department, menu planning, staff training and recruiting
Ensuring that all dishes are prepared with attention to detail and to the highest standard ensuring company spec is met at all times.
Managing the kitchen brigade, motivate the team and share knowledge, training and developing chefs within the team.

You'll be striving to work at Michelin Star level and should have exacting standards that set the tone for the level of quality throughout the team.

The Important Part
To be considered for this great job, the successful Sous Chef must be passionate about food and delivering amazing hospitality to guests. You must be organised, a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
Similar quality hotel experience is required in a Sous Chef or Senior role, ideally within a multi-rosette or Michelin Star operation.
The hotel is based in a rural part of Stirlingshire. As such, this position may be more suited to someone who drives & has access to their own transport.
