The Restaurant

As the restaurant operates on a members-only basis, the planning that goes into making every diners experience a memorable one is quite straightforward. Bookings are taken well in advance and there are no walk-ins, allowing for a highly personal level of service and for the chefs to be well prepared for each & every service.
The Position
You’ll be working with local produce where possible, and not so local as well. You’ll be working with seasonal produce and developing the menus as the season goes on. It would be an advantage if you can drive & have access to your own transport, but it is not essential as accommodation is available.
You’ll be assisting with the day to day running of the kitchen & can take the reins when the chef is off.
The job comes with great work-life balance, with a 40-hour working week being the norm, though this may be up to 50. Lunch service is focused on everyday food, high-quality pasta, sandwiches and other simple dishes, but all fresh & made in-house. Dinner service is focused on luxurious, fine dining food – easily Michelin Star standard so you’ll need to be flexible & have a range of experience. 
About You
You should have experience in working with chocolate & working with sugar, and generally be able to hold your own on a busy pastry section. You should have a working knowledge of what’s in season and a great underpinning knowledge of food & various cooking techniques. You should be driven, focused & determined to push on in your career. Previous experience in a Rosette awarded kitchen would be a great advantage, but people with the right skill-set & attitude will also be considered.
The Benefits
The position comes with a salary of up to £25,000pa plus tips & other benefits including seasonal time off – Closed January & February and access to amazing training.
There is also accommodation available within walking distance & you’ll be working in an award-winning kitchen.
