The management team have all been trained at the Piersland House Hotel and have managed to create a modern and relaxed feel coupled with a great family atmosphere. All events are catered for including; christenings, parties as well as daily lunches and evening meals.  A recent addition means that the bar is now open with real log fire and comfy seating seven days a week. Home baking is also served from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily.
 
The staff were very knowledgeable about the extensive menu available coupled with the daily changing specials. They succeeded in providing a pleasant atmosphere with warm, friendly service.
 
I chose my starter from the specials menu which was stuffed mushrooms with cheese.  Followed by the sirloin steak which was cooked exactly how I like it. 
 
The waiting staff offered us excellent service with both food and drink throughout our meal. The Cannyman Bar & Restaurant was a wonderful venue to have a relaxed, family catch up.
 
Definitely a worthwhile find.
